Postdoc opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a two year postdoc to work on the population genetics of Antarctic marine organisms. We are seeking a candidate with a keen interest in population genetics and experience of RAD sequancing and related approaches.

Martin wins a fellowship!

Congratulations to Martin Stoffel for winning funding for his own position from the German Science Foundation.  His project, together with Josephine Pemberton at Edinburgh University, will focus on the genomics of inbreeding depression in Soay sheep.  We wish him the best of luck and much fun!

A big thanks to Greg Charrier, who travelled all the way from Brest to give a very nice talk in the Behaviour and Evolution seminar series. We had a great time eating yummy German food and discussing life, the universe, and marine population genetics!
